At Assurance Banc Corp, we are serious
about your financial privacy.
During the course of processing your application, we accumulate
nonpublic financial information from you and from other sources
regarding your income, your assets, and your credit history. This allows
a lender to make an informed decision about granting you credit. We
restrict access to non-public personal information about you to only
those employees who need to know that information to provide products
or services for you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural
safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic
personal information.
We do not sell any information
you provided to anyone, and we do not
disclose any nonpublic personal information about you to anyone, except
as permitted by law.

from you on forms, via the Internet, by
telephone or otherwise. Examples of this type of information
include your name, address, social security number, credit
history and other financial information.
- Information we receive
from a consumer-reporting agency, such
as information relating to your creditworthiness, your credit score
and credit usage.
- Information from third
parties to verify information you have
given us.
We may share all the information
that we collect, as described above, for the following purposes:
- To provide you with
the products and services you have
requested.
- To offer you additional
products and services from us or from
others, that may be of interest to you.
- To comply with reporting and
other legal requirements.
- To otherwise conduct business.
We are permitted by law
to share all the information we collect, as
described above, with (1) companies that perform marketing services on
our behalf and (2) with other financial institutions with which we have
joint marketing arrangements.
We may also share all information
we collect, as described above, with other nonaffiliated third parties as permitted
by law for (1) fraud, security
or risk control, (2) document preparation services, (3) credit reporting
agencies, (4) quality control services, (5) other mortgage lenders to
whom we refer your files for approval.
The privacy policy of the
lender who purchases your loan may be
different than ours. By law, your new lender must provide you with their
policy at closing or loan purchase and then annually thereafter.
